Native Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation in NSW: Giving Australia's Wildlife a Second Chance

Every year, thousands of Australia's native animals are injured, orphaned or displaced due to vehicle collisions, habitat loss, bushfires, domestic animal attacks and the increasing pressures of climate change. For many, survival depends on receiving specialist care from experienced wildlife rehabilitators.

Located near Braidwood in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, NingeeGully Wildlife Sanctuary is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and softly releasing Australia's native wildlife. Serving the Canberra Region, Queanbeyan, Monaro and surrounding communities, our sanctuary provides expert, compassionate care to animals that would otherwise have little chance of surviving.

While we care for a range of native species, our passion and expertise lie in macropod rehabilitation, helping orphaned kangaroos and wallabies grow strong enough to return to life in the wild.

More Than Rescue

Wildlife rehabilitation is about far more than treating injuries.

Every animal requires an individual rehabilitation plan that supports its physical recovery while encouraging the natural behaviours needed to survive independently. This includes appropriate nutrition, veterinary care, enrichment, social development and carefully managed soft-release programs.

Our goal is always the same, to return healthy, confident animals to the environment where they belong.
