NingeeGully began with one injured eastern grey kangeroo and a promise to provide a safe haven. Today, our sanctuary stands as a testament to the resilience of Australia's unique wildlife and the dedication of a community that refuses to look away. What started as a once off rescue has grown into a professional rehabilitation facility, driven by the belief that every life is worth saving.

At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief: every native animal deserves the opportunity to heal, recover and return to the wild. Based in the beautiful NSW Southern Highlands, we are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and soft-releasing Australia's native wildlife, with a specialised focus on macropods.
Through expert, compassionate care and evidence-based rehabilitation, we give injured, orphaned and displaced animals the best possible chance to regain their natural behaviours and thrive back in their natural environment.

With more than three years of specialised experience in macropod rehabilitation, Julie and Greg have dedicated themselves to providing exceptional care for orphaned and injured kangaroos and wallabies. Their knowledge, patience and unwavering compassion ensure that every animal receives the individualised care and rehabilitation it needs to recover, develop essential natural behaviours, and build the confidence required for life back in the wild.
